What drives enterprise carmakers to choose a technology partner?
Microsoft's AI team needed to build a landing page to help promote a major e-book that served as a lead gate, on driverless car technology. I was a senior copywriter on an agency team tasked with creating this.
To make the landing page more impactful, I came up with and sold the idea of having it automatically "drive" the user from point to point, with voice over by Microsoft's own virtual assistant, Cortana. I wrote a script for her dialog and copy for the page, drawing key points and features out of a 30-page industry report. I had Microsoft’s massive copy guidelines in hand the whole time.
The execution received a lot of acclaim with the Microsoft AI team and has driven conversions in numerous campaigns since, though specific metrics were not shared by the Microsoft team. While the landing page is no longer up, I do have a recording of it below.
